Updated Summer News
1. Cheer Camp will be June 22-24 at CES from 8am - 12 pm. The cost for this camp is $45 and will be lead by the CCHS seniors. They
have returned from UCA camp and are excited about teaching us new cheers, chants, and dances. They will also help us come up with a halftime routine for football season. The camp is mandatory!

2. Routine Camp will be July 14 & 15 at ACE gym in Birmingham from 9am - 3pm. The cost for this camp is $150. We will be learning the competition routine at this camp. When school starts back, we will continue to work on the routine with ACE in Centre.
***NOTICE that this cost is different from the original $100 that I quoted you. SORRY about the mix up with this. Our other option would be to go with Georgia Elite for our competition camp which would be cheaper but would not include our music cost. Also, it would mean that we would have to drive to Menlo, GA once a week throughout the school year. ACE will come to Centre and continue working with us. After speaking with several parents and discussing both options, the majority think that paying an additional $50 would be best. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to call me.

3. We will continue gymnastics class through June and July at the CES gym. The class will meet from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Everyone has paid for June and will need to pay $40 the first Thursday in July. You will be required to come unless you let me know IN ADVANCE that you will be out of town. If you do not give me at least 24 hr. notice, you will have to do some form of physical conditioning for punishment (Mo will decide what that will be). We are a team! It is not fair to the girls who are there if you can miss without having to make up for it in some way.

4. Uniforms are HERE! When your varsity balance has been paid in full, you will receive your uniform. If you see that paying the varsity balance before the first football game is going to be a problem, please see me about setting up a payment plan. I realize that many of you have a large varsity balance and it is a lot to pay all at once. We can work together on this.

5. I have a really good fundraising idea I thought that we could sell locker magnets at CMS survivor camp. All students grades 5-8 will be attending survivor camp this summer because of the opening of the new CMS. That is over 500 students who will be excited about decorating their brand new locker. What better way to do that than with a warrior head magnet? I need some parents willing to be in charge of this project.

If you have any questions, please e-mail or call me.
